I am considering TVM to build a small game rifle (.32 or .36). Unfortunately, the pictures on the TVM website are pretty poor so I am hoping some of you can help out by posting photos of Tennessee and/or Southern guns made by TVM. Also, any guns they made using their "Super Premium" maple.

Many thanks, in advance.

DG.

I only got my .58cal Virginia 2 days before the season opened in November where I hunt, and I haven't had time to make a decent set of actual rifle photos since ML season yet...I specified Super Premium ++ to TVM and this is the stock they used.

I just received my Early Virginia kit from TVM with the super premium maple. I think the criteria is figuring in 90% of the wood, but I would call mine figured at 100%. I hope this helps

I have two rifles from TVM(one .36 Late Lancaster and one .50 Early Lancaster). Both are beautiful rifles and have outstanding wood. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone. Not only for his skill and attention to detail, but also his standing behind his products after the sale. Besides all that, their just great people to know and to do business with. Vern

This is just a stock photo of the TVM .62 Fowler. Don't know that I could take a better one. The one thing that surprised me - happily so - was the quality of the wood. For a "Poor Boy", it is a nice piece of maple. You really can't tell much from this picture. The wood is much like the stock in Trench's post. When I get home tomorrow, I'll get some better shots.
Points great, too.

Please do Pete! I'm looking really hard at that same piece an would really like better pictures.

Are these TVM; TV"Manufacturing" or TV"Muzzleloading" guns? I'm confused...

I only have one TVM rifle, the early Lancaster Grand Rifle with German silver furniture, but it was built by Jack Garner etal BEFORE he sold the company to Matt and Toni and started the "other" TVM. Sooo, I didn't post any pictures as I didn't feel they were relevant. I would recommend them as to building a quality firearm at a reasonable price; I have a couple of friends who have their guns and they are very nice.

Here's a pic of two rifles, both ordered with SUPER PREMIUM+ stocks. The top one is from
TV Muzzleloading.

Don't hesitate to send Toni an email and ask for better pictures. I posted here a while back asking for pictures of a pistol that they offer, and a little while later I got a PM from Toni offering to email me some pictures. I gave her my email address and about an hour later I had a couple of emails with probably 10-12 pictures of different examples of the pistol I was asking about.

Hopefully after I get back to work after the holidays I'll be calling to order that pistol kit.

First of all, thanks for the photos. Certainly helpful in deciding on the wood. I would still like to see a few photos of "Tennessee" rifles.

Now, what's the difference between TVM (Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading) and the other manufacturer some of you have mentioned? I have spoken with Matt and Toni at TVM - both are extremely nice and have patiently answered all of my questions (so far).

Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading is owned by Matt and Toni Avance. It originally was run by Jack Garner who sold the business to them, then started Tennessee Valley Manufacturing. The new company originally made rifle parts and lately, IIRC, now offer complete rifles or maybe kits as well as the parts.

Here's a picture of my TVM(uzzleloading) .36 Southern Mountain rifle. I love it's accuracy and feathery weight.

Model 19: Sorry that this took so long. Here's a couple of pictures of the stock on my TVM poor boy fowler - nothing special ordered.
