The 7-1/2” was called the “Texas Model “ and it had a fluted cylinder. This model was also called the “Civilian Model” no protruding screws or recoil shield notches for a shoulder stock. Make a nice specimen for my collection. But alas, I can’t afford it at this time. Unless someone bought my Ely😜
 
Does this pistol function correctly? Any overtravel / undertravel of cylinder? Cylinder rotate freely when hammer is half-cocked?
 
I have not fired it, but it seems to function just fine. She clocks good and locks up tight. I havnt rolled it around a lot, just enough to check it.
