My ASM walker shoots a good foot high, the 3rd model Dragoon shoots about 2 inches high, so ya, I am happier than a golpher in soft dirt!
I have a Uberti and it shoots high at 20; but, rings the gong at 100 no problem. That is ecactly what I expected. So I was very surprised it shoot dead on point of aim.
I own one of each, and you’re right about the fit and finish. However, if you’re loading conicals, the Pietta plunger (made for roundballs) needs to be replaced, and an Uberti plunger is just right. It’s an easy swap, and won’t mash the noses.I was impressed the fit and finish was beautiful, as I have read on this forum that some folks feel the Pietta was not as well finished as the Uberti. I have to say this one is every bit as finished as my Uberti.

Exactly. You just remove the screw, pull the original plunger off the loading lever, put the new plunger on the lever, and screw it back in. Even I managed it in about 2 minutes.so that specific part is interchangeable, with no fitting required?
