Moose, not quite what I was looking for, of course a muzzleloader was used hence the topic. Curious as to regulations, permits, registrations, seasons etc.. that kind of thing. It is always good to see what other black powder shooters have to go through to enjoy the hobby specially in other countries, information may come in handy here eh?
 
Further to our normal gun licencing applied to all long guns we need an Explosives licence to buy and store Black Powder. Storage is rather specific as to containers these days. Must be in Plastic tubs ( Tins are "OUT" so collectors can only keep empty ones.) and must be in a Regulation designed Wooden box in a fixed location. Poor old Fire brigade. I always tell the local station where it is.. OLD DOG..
