I need some help from ya'll. I recently purchased a pipe hawk head. I have been unable to find a handle for it. Looking for a nice curly mapple. Will appreciate any leads.

I was hoping where you got it would give away the shape. R.E.Davis sells preshaped and drilled handles for the heads he sells. However, the Handles that Dunlapp woodcraft sells have larger diameter throughout the length but require more work. The Hanldes sold by Log Cabin Shop are excellant for the H.B. Forge head. There are a couple of pipe axe heads out there that would require you start with a 2x2 piece of drilled wood and shape the whole thing yourself. If you could post a picture I might could help.
