Okay everbody you've got to go out and watch the latest Pirates movie if for nothing other than to look at all the pistols. I've never seen so many pistols in one movie!

It sure took the pirates a long time to realize that their powder was wet and wouldn't fire after they came out of the water. Real pirates wouldn't have even tried to fire their pistol after being dunked in the water for several minutes.

I thought I saw a wheelock pistol in the movie, or was it a wheelock converted to a flintlock?

grant,
I'll wait till it comes on pay-for-view. I can dress anyway I want, drink what I want, eat what I want and pee when I want and not miss a thing. All
this for $3.99. Ah, life is good!

Nothing like the big screen tho. Or at least what passes for a big screen these days.

Yep I say the wheellock at the "Bretheren Court". The little short guy had it. Think I saw a dog lock too.

Having scored a billion a movie with the first two, I don't think they needed to produce this one. They might end up richer'n product liability lawyers. :surrender:

Rebel,

Here in the NYC metro area we have theaters with "Director's Halls". They have screens the size of rugby fields, leather seats, REAL carpeting and assigned seating with true digital surround sound and DLP projection. Give it a try.

Did anybody else notice the double-barreled blunderbuss in the final battle?

Somehow I don't see me making a trip to NYC just to watch a movie.

One of the pistols the chinese pirates had looked just like one of the old Pyro model kits they used to have when I was a kid.It was the Miqulet pistol ,big long thing,I still have a couple of these around somewhere

Me neither! If you see me in N.Y. city, I made a
very, very, very serious wrong turn. But I have been a Yankee fan since childhood.

Finally saw it Friday night. Liked the guns, liked the ships. Didn't care for the movie.

Made a point last night to go and watch it before it dissappears from the circuit. I really enjoyed the movie. Especially the guns, cannons and ships. :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

I drive my wife crazy "Oooo I have one of those" "See there's my musket" :blah:
