I posted that shot sometime back when a thread hashing over the cause of chainfires was current.
that's my nephew fireing his Colt (or it's one of my nephews I ought'a say, the left-handed one). there's really no trick fotog involved just a white background light that his mom has on her deck, it's an argon bulb, and of course I set my digi-cam at slowest exposure. I took 6 fotos and that's the best that came out.
I just figured the hammer kick-back was caused by the cap busting, as I've seen kick-back when fireing heavy loads in my .50.
obvious though that there is considerable flash at the nipple end of the cylinder and if the caps are'nt snug fit trouble is brewing.
