Pistol Pedersoli

I need to ask this question about a pistol, I believe it is an older pedersoli pistol, has the Italian marks and can semi make out the name, but not all the way, doesn't look like it was worn out, just not stamped well. Also I noticed that todays pedersoli name is large on guns, my question is did they make very small print on guns?

Yes they did. It has been only the blast couple of years that they started to "deep imprint & ad the BP only etc,
NOTE - their earlier guns were mabe by other mfg,s & stmped Pedersoli
