By the way, it’s a percussion firing system. And I believe pulling the whole trigger guard back released the bayonet.

I don't know exactly what you have, but it sure is neat! If it's in shooting condition you might want to bring it out of mothballs and go to lead ones. Just don't poke your eye out when loading!;):eek: If you get to shooting it you might try the monthly postal shooting match. If you miss with a shot you have a plan B to poke a hole in the target.

That's cool. I see them minus the blade for sale every now and then. I believe some folks call it a muff pistol. At least, the no bayonet version. I love odd stuff like that.
