Polishing steel furniture

Just wondering, has anyone ever used a case tumbler to polish steel parts?
Don't hang me out to dry on this :surrender: I know nothing replaces good old fashioned elbow grease. :thumbsup: Just thinking it may get the parts to a final polishing stage a bit quicker.

nope haven't but the first thing that comes to mind is every edge would be rounded.
