Well to throw another wrench at the monkey, haversacks are for food. Now I do stuff possibles in my haversack. Well most of the time I have a snap sack slung on my other shoulder. I have four or five from my overnight bag to a light day trip bag.

These days, I use my muzzleloader exclusively for short (half-day) deer hunting jaunts, and just about don't need a possibles bag any more.
I stash 3-4 pre-loaded speedloaders (boolit in one end, Holy Black in the other) and a straight line capper in a coat pocket.
I leave all the minutia (jags, nipple wrench, cleaning patches, bore cleaner, etc, etc) in a wooden box inside my vehicle.
