Never read it but would sure like to since I live in the vicinity of that campaign. I believe he stopped here by Ft. Massac before heading to Kaskaskia.

OS...Yes I did read it several years ago but had forgotten I did until your post. Don't remember much about it but I kept the book so it must have been good. Usually I throw away the junk.....like "The Hornets nest" by Jimmy Carter....what a piece of trash! best use was to tear the pages out and use them as a fire-starter!

If I remember correctly, he died a pauper living in a cabin on Andrew Jackson's plantation in TN.
