Hot off the bench. Little day bag, for the squirrel or rabbit hunter with the small calibers. Bag is from 1.5 oz veg tan dyed brown. It's about 6" tall and 4.5" wide. That's the measurement of the front of the bag. Its sewn inside out to give a little volume. Bag is lined with cotton pillow ticking. There is a welt in the bag to protect the stitches.
The beaver tail flap is unlined. So I flattened a groundball and sewed it into the bottom of the tail to act as a weight to keep it closed. Strap is 56" long and is mostly hemp webbing.
