I ordered 5 lbs of Black Powder from Buffalo Arms before Thanksgiving and received word it shipped on Dec 9 and was due here yesterday, Dec 15. Well, it was a no show so I tracked it and it appears to be stuck in Iowa. I since heard this morning that there were bad storms, tornadoes and much damage in Iowa yesterday, so I guess my late delivery is minor compared to folks who have lost homes, businesses and perhaps loved ones. My prayers go out to those folks affected. I also am waiting on a Kibler SMR that shipped on the 3rd and was held up in Warrenton Pennsylvania on Friday. So, I wonder if there were bad storms in that area as well. I don’t want to bother Laurie again as I am sure there is nothing she can do she already helped me last week by finding out where it was. It will get here when it gets here it isn’t like it is the O- Ring for my Grandmothers Iron lung.

90 mph straight winds pretty much kept all "high profile vehicles" off the roads here in Iowa yesterday. All deliveries were delayed.

Great to hear powder is flowing again. the administration is doing whatever it can
to slow shipping and make shortages worse--desperate Citizens will then welcome in
tyranny. Worse than general shippers is the US Postal Service. We are in a new era
of lousy shipping--it is not Buffalo or Kibler. Through it all you are in good shape.
Be sure to get flints/caps for ignition items. Post photos of that Kibler.

I ordered 25 lbs of black powder from BACO on November 16th. It went 2 weeks with no shipment confirmation. I called them and finally got through. A nice lady told me they were way behind on filling orders and were just getting to the orders that were placed on the 16th. She said they are short staffed but would get my order out that day. The powder left Idaho on Dec. 1, it then went to Troutdale, OR. It left Troutdale on Dec. 2nd with a deliver date of Dec. 4th. Along the way I get a Delayed notice with no activity after that. Mind you when black powder is shipped, an adult has to sign for it on the receiving end. I waited and waited and got nervous because FedEx is notorious for poor service in our area. I contacted BACO and they couldn't tell where the shipment was. Low and behold it finally showed up late one afternoon, on Dec. 8th.

BACO is short staffed because they can't find people to work. Along with that, there is a shortage of a lot of firearm related items. I couldn't find a new Lyman Great Plains flintlock to go with my percussion model. I had to pay high dollar for a used one because no one knows when the next shipment is coming in. We are in a world of shortages caused by not just our government but from foreign government also.

Hang in there, you should be getting it soon. Or at least I hope so. Can't blame BACO on the shipping delay.

My package tracking showed the same route as yours, Idaho to Troutdale Oregon then another town in Oregon and on to Nebraska then Iowa and now it sits in Ohio for over 24hrs. the 24hrs. in Iowa was due to bad weather and high winds I understand that.
