Powder Difference

I have 10 pounds of Goex cartridge powder. What is the difference between this and the f grades? I do not know if I need to pitch this or if I can use this in a rifle. Thanks in advance, Tim.

Have found it about equal to Fg as all "cartridge" grades seem to be. I'd just go ahead and shoot it and have fun.

I've found CTG grade to be close to a "clean" 2f Goex. No need to pitch it. Either use it in your ML or try to find someone close to you that shoots BPCR . . .

As the others have said, go ahead and shoot it in your muzzleloader. It should work about like 2Fg which will work in a .45 caliber and up.

Use it! I have shot goex cart in my 50 cal worked fine.
