I have 10 pounds of Goex cartridge powder. What is the difference between this and the f grades? I do not know if I need to pitch this or if I can use this in a rifle. Thanks in advance, Tim.

Have found it about equal to Fg as all "cartridge" grades seem to be. I'd just go ahead and shoot it and have fun.

As the others have said, go ahead and shoot it in your muzzleloader. It should work about like 2Fg which will work in a .45 caliber and up. :)

Tim, I hate to see anyone in anguish over such a situation...so if you'll just go ahead and send that to me I'll dispose of it properly for you.

I REALLY appreciate the offer, I'll be able to sleep tonight.
