I could not find any manufacturer markings on this flask. Was wondering if anyone can tell the age. It looked old to me but I have little knowledge of them.

That actually looks like a decent flask, look for a maker on the top right above the cut off and below the spout.

Well I am not sure how I missed it but I found the manufacturer stamp. The stamp reads "G & JW Hawksley Sheffield"
Now I don't know how to tell if this is an original or a knock-off. From what I can find they went out of business in 1889.

Looks like you have an original Hawksley to me, not a unique shape or anything but still worth $100.00 to $150.00 or so.

Looks old enough to be genuine and the bloke in India who markets copies of Hawksley flasks is not cheap so there's not much point in ageing one of his creations.

Might be an old original powder flask made by Hawskley. But if you will post some photos of the head (screw off fireproof patent head) it would be fine.
These remakes made in India sometimes are not easy to identify.
