This is Horn #76 which I just finished today. It's a really handsome Right-side carry, measuring 14.5" along the bottom, and about 2.5" across the base. The Mahogany base plug is a low-profile domed shape secured with wooden pegs and has a nicely twisted staple for your carry strap.
This horn is a little different in that I only carved out the spout section, which is a flared octagon shape with a rounded ball tip. I like this design.
The engraving maintains some basic folk-style designs and I have incorporated some blended color inks for nice highlights.
It would be a wonderful display horn or a very attractive carry horn that will hold plenty of powder for you.
