Thanks. I often like make things such as these to look old and Possess a quaintness about them. I sometimes imagine a story behind the item as I am working on it, thinking what things a person of the time would relate to as he decorated the horn. I’m glad you like it

I just used a water base dye (can’t remember the name at the moment). Then I seal it with Paste Wax.

Thanks. The hand gun is a kit pistol that I just built from MBS- a Frence Dragoon .62 caliber Model 1733.

It’s nice to be able to sit in the warm house at the kitchen table, enjoy a cup of coffee and scratch away at a horn. (Sure is a lot less smelly than carving away at em!)
