I am in search of this kind of brass spout. I plan to be at the Horner's Guild gathering on Friday March 4th, if someone wants to meet to hand it off.

Thank you.

I just went through a long search looking for the same spout. I finally found one (assembled) and two other variations made by others. Of the three variations, I liked this one the least. My main complaint is the way the spring is held in and the spring itself. It could stand some improvement. The Rifle Shoppe is supposed to have all the components for their version in stock soon. You may try them.

Looking on the Rifle Shoppe website, I was unable to locate powder horn fittings. The website also does not seem to have a search function, which makes looking for things relatively laborious and time consuming. Do you have a URL for their powder horn spout/ valve? Thanks again

Look under English Arms, about half way down the list. British Early Riflemans Powder Horn Spout. I need to note that I have not seen one of these, so I can not vouch for it. I only know in my searches - it is the only one that may be available any time soon.

Thank you so much. I did look on the English arms page and missed this entry, despite looking “carefully” several times. No photo accompanies the description. I’m actually aiming for a late flintlock era British sporting powder horn, and from all I’ve learned thus far, this valve/ spout was pretty common. Because I use my rifles for hunting, a metal powder flask is the last thing I want in my possibles bag. Anyhow. Thanks again, I really appreciate your help here

I should mention that the best one that I have seen and can identify is those made by Jim Spray. He may be out of pocket right now, but you can find him on the ALR site.
Update: Jim Spray responded to me that he is behind schedule with producing these cool horn spouts, but that he added my name to his list. Thanks again for the lead, I super appreciate your help
