I am in almost the exact situation as yourself, same rifle, same groups, just I lack your hunting experience. I experimented with prbs, maxi balls and Lee reals and various loads ( BP only it's freely available here :grin: ) and was starting to get frustrated. Last visit to the range was much better tho, about 5" groups at 50 odd yards, can't wait till I make time to go again. Just to say keep experimenting and I think there is something in needing to put 300 odd shots through before the deerhunter starts to perform and maybe more till I get used to bp shooting. ..
