I use a full size refrigerator. Lots of shelves and door is only held shut by magnetic stripsMine is an old apartment size refrigerator. It will hold a couple cases. Remember, no locks or latches on magazines.
I also put an explosives warning sign on my shop, and informed the local fire department if it ever catches fire, stay da hell back, and wait for the earth shattering boom.
Interesting, considering blackpowder is normally not impact sensitiveWhat a can of BP WILL DO is EXPLODE if you shoot it with a .30-06. Many years ago (late fifties) a hunter safety instructor I had did this to a very old can about 3/4 full, sitting on top of a good sized stump. Range was a hundred yards. The fireball was quite large. Top of the stump was quite charred.
I guess you never owned a cap gun.I

I have put 150 gr. BP on an anvil and slammed it with a large brass hammer. It did not go off after several attempts. My niece whom is a LEO zapped another pile of BP with her taser, it didn't go off. What a can of BP WILL DO is EXPLODE if you shoot it with a .30-06. Toy caps are not BP, they are made of a mixture similar to priming compound.I guess you never owned a cap gun.
Not black powder in cap gun capsI guess you never owned a cap gun.
When I was a kid, I shot the TV so many times at the outlaws on Gunsmoke and other westerns. If caps were made of BP, the living room would have been full of smoke, and one very annoyed mother! Not black powder in cap gun caps
After we get out of this mess we're in, maybe someone will try what I said I saw and report back. Unless the chemistry has changed it's going to explode. The can used in the demo was an old, red metal one.I
