Had a few hours open on fathers day. Spent it in the shop making a few new powder measures.

Top is an Elk tip, for 80gr, middle is a reproduction grizzly claw for 60gr, and the bottom is a black buck for 70gr. I am an antler junky and most of my friends know if they have scraps, or tips, I will take it.

I just did the grizzly claw for fun. Found it at gunshow for 10 bucks, and figured the kids would think it was cool   .

Also got to spend some time casting. Heck of a good fathers day if you ask me. Church, all the family around the table for dinner, a couple hours playing with my black powder kit..... I'm a blessed man.

Doc

Good for you and congrats on a great Fathers Day.
Less important, but I like the grizzly claw even though I usually poo-poo plastic things for ml purposes. Still very neat.

Doc, Glad you had a good Father's Day! Looks like you spent it well. Nothing better than getting to use your mind as well as your hands and get to do something you like doing! Also, You have something to show for it as well.

BTW: I like all 3 but the Bear Claw is my favorite!

Respectfully, Cowboy

a sort of a "why?" on the bear claw but overall, very nice. and glad you had an awesome father's day.

I like the bear claw, too ... did it come off a plastic bear?

Are plastic bears where synthetic fur comes from?

(I know you get naugahide from the Canadian nauga animal.)

The upside is those plastic (actually a resin) bear claws look very-very real. I have one that can easily be passed off as real.
