man that was fast, ordered it monday and got it today. i bought 5 pounds of the olde eynsford 3f from graf&sons only bad thing is i got to work all day thursday.

Yep, I get mine from PowderInc.(10lbs. at a time). and 3 days later UPS has it on the front porch. Its too bad they will leave it there if nobody's home but so far I haven't had it go missing.

The FedEx guy left a 25 can case of GOEX sitting on the chair next to my front door - an unwrapped GOEX box with the big labeling "BLACK POWDER" in one inch bold lettering, and "DANGER! EXPLOSIVE" in big red letters.

Fed Ex LADY brought Me My last case of Goex. It was clearly marked Black Powder explosive. She still had to ask, as She was dusting the residue off Her Hands, what the stuff was. Didn`t have the Heart to tell her !!!!

25lbs.! :surrender: .

Armakiller. about ten years ago my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I said "a case of GOEX". She said, "well, you'd better order that yourself". So I did, and have been buying myself a case at Christmas every year since then. It's a smoking great gift!

Hello all.
I got my first powder order ever in today. I knew the Ole Eynsford would come in plastic containers, but the picture of the other can looked like a metal can of 4f. I specifically ordered the other can because It looked like the old metal cans. Is all powder from now on going to come in plastic containers? I am irked but I know it does not effect the powder but I really wanted the can. Also 2 of the plastic cans had a date of 2013 and one had a date of 1997. I am pretty sure I am reading it right. Would everyone think that is correct? Did they even have plastic cans in 97? Maybe I read it wrong. Thanks for any input.

If I'm not mistaken, Olde Eynsford was introduced in 2013. I purchased some in March of this year and it was in plastic containers. Everything I've recently purchased has (unfortunately) come in plastic containers.

Smokeless powder also comes in plastic. I would expect a problem with static electricity, but apparently it's a non-issue or it wouldn't be sold that way?

See the sticky above concerning static. No, it is not an issue.
