My horn was not air tight and had some issues with it, so I just threw it aside for a few years. I was working on my motorcycle one day that devolped a leak in one of the seams in the tank and I purchased kreem tank sealer which is basically a ceramic liquid that dries hard as a rock. you just pour it in and roll it around and let it dry. My bike was a honda rebel and I did not need the whole ammount but did not want it to go to waste and it hit me. pour it into the powder horn, worked great and sealed the wood cap. I just used liquid rubber for the stopper and the thing is water tight because I fell into a creek once and my rifle and myself along with all my gear went in. The powder was perfectly dry when I when to go pour it out later.
