Ok, let's get this one out and over right now: I KNOW you can buy patches already pre-lubed with bore butter. I don't care. I want to be able to make up batches of fresh patches (nice rhyme)on my own, to my specs. Now then, do I just sit down one evening and smear a bunch of them and put 'em in my shooting bag for the next day or two? I seem to recall someone on this board who said he did something with bore butter and patches and a microwave oven and got good patches with nicely even bore butter distribution on each one. Can anyone illuminate further on this?
