My son accidentally tried to brush his teeth with it, Then he realized it didn’t taste like toothpaste and turned on the light and realized what it was. It was quite comical!

A fellow in my club said he got it mixed up with the tooth paste as well? He said it didn't clean his teeth but his gums quit itching? Pun intended!

What offends me is people who are so thin skinned or proper that they cant tolerate anyone else having a laugh. My feeling is people like that should be rubbed in with PH from head to toe. Maybe they would totally disappear.

I don't know about in the Mountain Man movie, but back then it was likely only Preparation "A" or "B" because it took a long time to reach "H"

Do only poor folk laugh at this silly joke or only rich folk?
Is it country boys that laugh at it or city boys?
If you listen to opera and play chess can you laugh, because that’s part for me.

All joking aside, Preparation H would probably work just fine as a patch lube - although there are certainly cheaper ways to go.

"The Ointment contains Petrolatum 71.9%, Mineral Oil 14%, Shark Liver Oil 3% and Phenylephrine HCl 0.25%."

In other words, it's basically Vaseline cut with mineral oil and a little shark liver oil, plus a touch of phenylephrine HCI . I don't know what the heck that is, but I doubt the little smidgen of it matters for our purposes.
