Yep, that mountaineer with the Hawken looks like something out of “Deliverance 2-The flip side.” I have to say, I truly admire that rifle she is holding. I wouldn’t mind her number to inquire more about it. Purely for research of course...

They came on that old 1851 in the pic. It was made in 1975.

my new favorites (and will also, to me, be the prettiest as well, once I clean off the corrosion and get them working again so I can actually fire them) are these original Colts (the 4 on the right) I just got from the estate of a deceased collector...
