yes, the barrel is a T/C hawken .50. I used a 275 gr maxi hunter over 75 gr. of 3f goex. I actually made a bad shot but got lucky, I set the trigger and hit it before I was ready, the bullet hit behind his liver but clipped the spine & severed the femoral artery. I lost some tenderlion too! the ball went clean thru and the deer never got up!
