Here’s an interesting one, mainly because I hadn’t seen one by Armsport. Beyond that, it’s an Italian import so that’s not unusual. In fact, I had a Lyman out at my bench right after it and they appear nearly identical.

In any event, it’s .50 caliber flintlock hawken style rifle with a hooked breech. While not minty, it should be a good user. The stock has some nice looking grain. It has a few dings and scratches here and there. The barrel is an uneven brown finish. The trigger guard and buttplate are somewhat roughly finished. The lock is in very good condition. It does have a touch hole liner. The bore is in good condition, but could use a bit more cleaning. This rifle is essentially a catch and release since something else shiny caught my eye. I went through and gave it once over to make sure I didn’t see any problems but didn’t try and make it pristine. It looks to me like it was shot very little and sat collecting dust for sometime.

I’d like $395 shipped CONUS where legal. USPS money order preferred, but will entertain other options for established members of the site.

you may be surprised at the wood hiding under there.

I agree. The stock looks to be a good piece of wood and has a more pleasing finish than many I’ve seen but I have no doubt someone could really take it to the next level if they choose.

That lock looks identical to a T/C lock? Have you tried to spark it yet?

I have not, but I can throw a flint in there and try it if it will tip the scales for someone. My T/C isn’t a flint to compare, but it is the same lock that is on my Lyman trade rifle.
