I was given a priming horn at one point that wasn't traditional, but was handy as-can-be. It had a metal end on it, in which you could slide it back (on a spring I guess) and the priming charge would be delivered to the pan. As soon as you let go, it closed.

I didn't have to worry about brush hooking on it and pulling the stopper out while hunting and my poweder draining out, like a traditional horn may do. I'd just tether it to my possibles bag and run on w/it.

Have you guys seen this, can you point me to where I can get one? I thought it came from Track of the WOlf, but didn't see them out there.

Thanks!!! :hatsoff:

Strange, they had them a couple weeks ago 'cause I filled out an order with one to help justify the shipping. Bet you gave up too soon.

Track has them but it won't be the whole horn it'll just be the small spring loaded part that you will glue into the end of a horn or some kind of container.
