Cast. or swaged? Both Speer and Hornady sell .440 balls that are swaged. Cast balls can be had from many of the suppliers listed up in " Member Resources" on the index page, under " Links". Eddie May, In Georgia, is also another source. I am sure someone will give you his address.

I picked up some .440s at Gander Mt. recently (recently, as in a few months ago.) I was there, it was convenient, and I didn't have to wait for them to ship to me. That is, of course, if you have a Gander Mt. in your neck of the woods.

Eddie May in Georgia has cast balla. Buy in bulk & you can save allot in cost & shipping as they have a USPS box you can ship under 70# for $ 10 or 11.00

For Eddie May area code is 706 NOT 760....everything else is correct. He lives in north georgia and knows his stuff. Good guy to talk to on the phone and can give lots of tips on anything related to muzzleloading. He and I are members of the same range.

Possible Shop is a good source, they are very responsive and have been good to me on customer service. They are usually competive on price and best on service.

They're not Hornady's but they're very reasonably priced, consistent, and accurate
