Do any of you have one of Bob Christians guns and if so what do you think of it. I am interested in an American Fowler he has for sale and would like to get some feedback on his work. Thanks.

My buddy purchased one of Bob's 62 cal. 20 guage smoothbore flinter's. Bob does quality work for a fair price. My buddy took 2 turkeys with this gun, just two weeks after receiving it. He had never used a finter before - I gave him some pointers, now he's hooked.
I'll tell you one thing - I wish my gun had the smooth trigger pull like the one he sold my buddy has.
I wouldn't be afraid to purchase one of his guns.
No, I do not personally know Bob - I just know his work plus from what my buddy told me, Bob talked with him and was great to work with.

I just received my fowler from Bobby Christian. Its a wonderfully slender and light piece. I've had a chance to try it out, and I'm ecstatic! I hit everything I shot at with ball and shot. I can't wait to try this nibble fowler on clay birds. Bobby went the distance for me and was great to deal with. I [strike]would[/strike] will buy from Bobby again.
