I don't quite know exactly. Just a suggestion as to what I might try. Dilute starch in water, heat water and starch enough to make steam than steam the hat in the shape wanted, let it cool.????
Twice Boom.

Good hat shops in this country sell a spray stiffener. Hair spray works until it gets wet a few times. I have used spray starch, and then iron it in, with good success, but it has to be touched up now and then

That should work.

I have steamed with straight water, followed by a spraying of starch(for cloth in an aerosol can)
and then spray with 3m scotchgard to repel some water, which will soak in and undo all your did too's!

I'm gunna try the starch/water mix!

Thanks guys.
I will try your suggestions.
Hope it helps. One side of the brim bend always down.Looks a little goosy.
