I've had a thomson center new englander 12 gauge caplock for about 35 years and don't shoot it was thing of selling it to get a kibler fowler any idea what it would it would be worth hasn't been shoot much thanks Erk

Even with two barrels that one's over the top with the pricing. The only ones that usually fetch that kind of dough either have a-lot of stuff with them or are NIB unfired. Here are the search results from the classified section for New Englanders. The ones that are marked sold combined with the description of yours should give a good relative price range to ask.

When I look for the going price of guns I log into Gunbroker and search for completed auctions.
Every time I look for something on GB the starting bid is often right at or slightly over what the thing is worth. To add to that almost every time I try to buy something off that site there's usually one or two peeps bidding like the item is the last usable one on the planet. Does the history on their site go back far enough to see things before the world lost its collective mind?

I don't remember how far back the history goes. When I search just to see what something has sold for one of my search terms is "going, going, gone" that way I don't have to look at all the ridiculous prices for starting bids or buy it now.
I'll have to remember that. Usually when I'm on that site I'm looking for something and it hadn't occurred to me that it could also be a historical resource of sorts. Thanks.
