When the Washington MZ regs say "Deer or Elk" and then lists one tag/fee does that equate to:

1.) Buy a tag, then harvest either a deer or an elk, whichever on you have an opportunity. One animal total. (As I read it, the deer and elk seasons overlap Oct 7-13)

2.) Tell us at the ticket counter if you will be pursuing deer, or if you will pursue elk. You will then receive a tag for only one species.

Thanks in Advance.

Nate

When you purchase your license, you need to tell them what your hunting for and they will give you that tag and charge you accordingly. You also need to tell them what type of weapon you plan on using.

Thanks - I think we'll be going for deer this year. - A little easier to carry out ;)

yeah, but if you're going to use thew hide elk's the way to go. That and you get more meat for your buck, or is it bull... :hmm:
