Thanks guys. It's pretty rough up close but it should work fine. I worked it in my hands some more today and it's getting pretty soft already. I treated it with Sno-seal so it should be good and water repellent.

Now I need to really study some of the well made stuff and originals so I can make something a little more HC next time.
