Just wundering if anyone has built one or owned one and if the liked it or not. Been contiplating on getting a 20gauge smoothie as a all purpose woods walk gun, havent made up my mind yet, looked at plunty of trade muskets and such. any help is greatly appreciated!

I ordered the Jacob Dubbs smooth rifle kit from Mold and Gun shop last year. I ordered walnut with sliding wood patchbox. The only modification I made was to use a round faced lock (Queen Anne) from L&R Locks. The kit came with mortise inletted for large siler. It is 20 ga and works pretty well I have killed both a deer and turkey with it.--Beowulf
