.Well i cant begin to tell it all,but a older
shooting fellow i know was in a remote area in
Utau forgive my spelling, but he had permission
to start with to go looking into some real old
Barns on the 1000 Acer plot so he gets to the
picture the find..up into the atic was low and
behold 7 of the oldest BILL LARGE Barrels he ever
made they had turned a Natural golden brown and
was packed plum full of Grease it had harded at
the end of the barrels but preserved the entire
Bore and Breach for say 60 years,it variad from
a 50cal to the 31cal, that i once had..
anyhoot just a true story i would throw at-ya
but i would have loved to been there..
some may not knowed Bill Large but he was a very
famous Barrel maker going back maybe as far as the 1930,s???thanksjust google Bill Large you
will find info on how he dated His Barrels by
using his 4 daughters names..
