Greetings All
New to the forum, but not to Muzzleloading. My past experience has been with an early TC Hawken designed for Hunting...not much time spent shooting balls at paper. That is about to change. Decided on putting together a Vincent, Rice Target Barrel in 45 caliber. Considered a 40 but it is the first to go into the gun corral and wanted to be able to hunt deer with it if the opportunity presents itself. 45 cal is the smallest legal caliber in South Dakota. Visited the gathering up at Ben Avery this past weekend while I was traveling through Phoenix. Did a lot of looking, watching and visited with a few folks. I really took note of some small but handy gun holding stands that folks clamped to the shooting benches to hold the rifle when loading and also held all manner of loading accessories. No brainer how handy it would be, but did not take a single picture of one and my old memory just ain't what it use to be. Anyone have a picture of theirs or a drawing of one they use and/or some useful hints on makeing one or what you might do differently if you were going to make another one...I would sure appreciate it. I did check the other threads to be sure this was the best place to post the question...seems like it is.
