range report

well i went to the range today, finally found a good working load. I had to mess around with everything from 7/8 - 1.5oz. wad and no wad, op cards, os cards and all. I kept running into blown patterns, inconsistent patterns, patterns too wide, to small... finally, i struck gold! settled on 80gr 3f, 2 OS cards, 1.5oz #5, 1os card. id say its pretty good for squirrel work lol. I can shoot to 25yards but no more! at 30 yards I might get a few pellets on the paper...so i know my max range

Looks good to me Byron....My groups blow apart after 30 yards too.....I just aim right or left of the target hoping the spread hits it.... :wink:
