Here is a link to a gentleman trying to start a convention for re-enctors from all time periods. There is a survey in this site he is asking people to fill out to help him decide what should be featured at this event. It sounds like a pretty cool idea, What do you all think?

We use to have a show, Celebrate History in South San Francisco. It ran for about two years and then died. It was a lot of fun. Reenactors, historians, actual participants (fighter pilots, U-boat skippers, etc.), wargamers, authors. It was two and a half days long and plenty of people to meet and talk to. Met gunbuilder Dale Shinn (Sacramento) and I was one of the few whom he allowed to handle his guns. But the show is no more.
