A fine line...like that from "well" to "whale." No H in Ouichita'. Nor a W.

I can hear the difference, but maybe it's just mental interpretation.

I'm a poor southern boy also. Ouichita to me is a lot different in Witicha. Witch-a-ta (and which in general) requires an exhalant of sound, "Ouitcha" does not. Nor does witch. But "which" does.

Just me, I guess.
