Was at a very small swap-meet type show this weekend and a guy had for sale a 'vintage' Investarms Great Plains Rifle in percussion. Had very large marking on barrel, GREAT PLAINS RIFLE and old address of of Middletown, Connecticut. Missing a wedge, and the easily viewed end of the bore was rather dirty looking but I didn't examine further as I was not looking to buy; just thought it's age was kinda noteworthy. He had it tagged at 595 but with the bore, he's gonna have a time selling it. I know Uberti had an address there and I've got a Hawken rifle marked thus, but didn't know if they offered Investarms GPR's at one time. Funny how now even our muzzleloaders have become 'vintage' and collectible now that original stuff is over the moon dollar-wise. I'm confused, but didn't Lyman have an address in Conn.?

The kit I put together a couple of years ago has the same markings with the “I” stamp.
I have a “vintage” rifle, cool

I have to look now, but I seem to remember something about the 90’s on this kit. I still have the original box and paperwork
