I just put one on my CVA "Hawken" . Be aware that it is made for a 3/8" dove tail and the CVA/Traditions use a metric dovetail (I think around .360" if I remember correctly) . A little file work and got a perfect fit. I also relived the back side of the notch to eliminate the "tunnel effect"; gives it a much crisper sight picture.

I will add that with it bottomed out on a 28" barrel the front sight needs to be around .320" tall to be zero at 50 yards, With PRB and 70-80 grs FFg ,give or take an inch or so depend on load and gun.
