Is it possible to ad new parts to an old Hadaway flint lock. Would consider complete new set of "guts" as original lock has silver soldered repair on tumbler at half cock notch that may not be very safe and also, flint hammer is always loose. Was wondering if modern Small Siler parts with fly in the tumbler could be installed on original Hadaway lock plate.

Would like to use original Hadaway lock plate as fitting a completely new lock might be a problem. Who can I contact for doing this work?

I have never heard of that name for a lock. Could you be referring to a " Hadaday" lock instead?

Either way, you might start by calling Dixie Gun Works to see if they have replacement parts for the lock.
