THE WOODS OF S.C.
here is a little 54 cal. Lyman GPR for sale. I think this gun was unfired till I zeroed it in. it is zeroed at 50yds and shoots fantastic! I slimmed it down to what it should look like, I took a lot of wood off this gun. I pointed the wood on both sides of the panels at the rear. I also draw filled the barrel flats and took off all the silly righting, except for the sel.# and date code under the barrel. I tuned the triggers and lock, and it is ready to go! I bedded the tang and brought it up to level on the wood like it should be and shimmed the trigger guard the same way, level. I straightened out the toe so it didn't look Pregent. I used super blue buffed back on the metal. I also bedded the wedge escussions the same way, so they were level with the wood. I also fitted a Hawken rear sight. I really like this rifle but I have to make room for more. 775 shipped!

You did an excellent job! If it were mine I would change the blade for a rounded I have a problem with the straight up sights? As a matter of fact I have a problem with all iron sights now! LOL!

well why don't you buy it and then change the sight! LOL!! I have great eyes for an old man. there are still some parts on me that work almost as good as new, but the rest is going down hill!! LOL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I would be proud to own the rifle but you made it looks so good I would be afraid to use it for fear of marring it LOL!
