Just received my copy in the mail today of this great book. I ordered it thru Amazon and got a "used" copy from the Lexington Ky. library. Book is in like new condition. Very pleased to add this to my library...............Chawbeef

Yes, it is a great book. I have learned a lot from it. Unfortunately, my hands do not translate that knowledge into beautiful workmanship.
And, BTW ff I have had excellent luck buying used books via Amazon.

I just wanted to add this lil ole tid bit of trivia which some of us old'ster's may find interesting.

Back when Peter, Paul, & Mary sang the song; "Puff the Magic Dragon", one could easily figure out that the fairy tale dragon was in reality a fine old flintlock gun!

Just like the song says, Dragons live forever, but not so little boys!

A story about a young boy and his gun. :wink:

P.S. I just made this up in my head this morning. The coffee is really extraordinary this time of year!
