.40 caliber Flintlock, Full Stock Tiger Stripe Maple stock, 42" Browned Getz Straight Barrel, 7/8" (.875") across the flats, 1:48 Twist, SN #14811, Don Getz Era. "Wes Noye" engraved on the top barrel flat in front of the lock
Rifle is 58" overall length, Weight 9lbs 14oz. 14.25" length of pull to front trigger. Rear sight has been moved forward to 15" from breech, old rear sight position plugged with brass slug, Front sight appears to be nylon as opposed to bone. Wood nicely relief engraved on cheekpiece, top of wrist, below ramrod pipe and up the sides of the stock ending near the brass end cap. Ramrod has a pinned brass tip, threaded 8/32.
Nice engraving on the brass fittings, lock plate, trigger guard, toe plate and patchbox with the exception of the more crude "1993" on the forward escutcheon. Patchbox engraved "Tuckahoe Valley Militia 20th Anniversary" with a button release on the toeplate. Release functions properly.
Lock may be a Chambers Golden Age, not entirely sure, please refer to photos. Pan and frizzen show very little wear. Rifle is either unfired, or very lightly used. Barrel has rifling which is sharp with no signs of corrosion or pitting. Stainless vent hole liner, appears to have been manually crowned slightly.
$2100, plus actual shipping and insurance to legal CONUS locations only.
Price Reduced to $1500, plus shipping and insurance. Please PM for any price discussions.
