Bottom Dollar. As Bilbo Baggins famously said: "This is a thing I have never seen before." Really attractive percussion longrifle made by CVA. It is marked as their PENN. model. The rifle shows very little use. Possibly unfired, but certainly clean as a whistle. The bore in the 40" barrel is mirror bright. Shows slight high edge wear. Only a little grease came out on patch along with what looks like some cap snapping residue. Twist is 1:66. Rear sight like ones on their Mountain Rifle. The brass mounted stock has minimal handling marks. LOP is 14". Nice engraved patchbox and side plate. Seems to be an uncommon rifle. $580 + Shipping.
