This is a used Pietta Remington New Army .44 caliber. Sometimes referred to as the 1858 Remington. I picked this up a few months ago. I have never fired it and have decided to sell it. ive dropped the price to $285 shipped USPS in CONUS. Hopefully the pics show you all the necessary details.

Well I didnt charge him for the consultation! LOL YES that is about the wisest answe that will be posted. Check in YOUR Area. AZ is pretty conservative with firearms law and VERY strict on your issues BUT I still think here probably.

It depends on your state laws, your PO (If you're still on paper, which does not seem likely) and if the court specifically included black powder arms as being prohibited. I would employ an attorney to be on the safe side. Check out the Second Amendment Attorneys on YouTube.
 
Ask an 2A attorney who is well versed in your state's laws. Just because a cap & ball revolver may not be considered a "firearm" by the feds because it can't shoot cartridge ammo, does not mean it's not a deadly weapon and your state may jam you up for having/carrying one. And many states have laws that regulate muzzleloaders just like regular firearms. Also, the availability of conversion cylinders on the market makes a cap & ball revolver "readily convertible to fire cartridge ammo" in some state's eyes and illegal weather you actually even own a conversion cylinder. Wacky laws in some places. Be careful.
